FLTG Hires Jeff Ackerman

TRUMANSBURG, N.Y., September 28, 2011 — Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc. has hired Jeff Ackerman as an outside plant engineer. Ackerman is responsible for helping extend the company's fiber-optic network into the Southern Tier.

Southern Tier Extension of Fiber Network on Schedule for Fourth Quarter

VICTOR/PRATTSBURGH, N.Y., August, 24, 2011 — The extension of telecommunications services and broadband Internet to Southern Tier business customers is on schedule for completion in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc. South.

FLTG Named Cisco Collaboration Partner of the East

VICTOR, N.Y., March 3, 2011 — Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. announced today that it is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit regional award for Collaboration Partner of Cisco's East region. Cisco unveiled the winners March 1 at its annual channel partner conference in New Orleans.

FLTG Hires Two New Employees

Derrick Jones has been hired as a customer support specialist. In his new role, Jones will provide technical support for DSL and dial-up customers. He previously served as a technology expert at Home Properties. Derrik resides in Rochester, NY.

BUFFALO, N.Y., January 15, 2011 — Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. has added William Charland Jr. as an account manager in its Buffalo area office.
In his new role, Charland will handle sales in the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) business. He brings seven years of experience to FLTG, most recently as an account executive at Broadview Networks.
