General Summary:
Responsible for engineering and maintaining the companies computers, servers, software and backup equipment for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installs, maintains, diagnoses and repairs PC's, servers, and other computer systems, including MAPCOM, SQL Server, Windows Servers, Netware, Linux, Unix, and AS/400.
• Installs, maintains, diagnoses and repairs data equipment supporting DNS servers, DHCP servers, and management systems.

Senior Network Analyst/Planner - (Show Details)

Job Description:
The primary job functions are: plan strategic interconnection network growth, interconnection analysis, pricing/cost analysis, compliance and reporting. Candidates need to be familiar with code groups, national carrier database structure, how it pertains to network hierarchy and has the ability to understand fiber infrastructure maps, mid-span points-of-meet, usage data, make recommendations and create service plans. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive telecom network planning experience in designing, ordering, and delivering TDM circuits (DS1 to DS3), Optical Circuits (OCx & Fiber), MetroEthernet Circuits, and other dedicated transport.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit orders to various telecommunications providers for services.
• Analyze OEC (Other Exchange Carrier) Local and Access facilities requirements based on forecasted demand.
• Long range planning of ILEC, IXC, Local and Access facilities is a requirement; involves setting up commercial and direct connect agreements, maintain interconnection inventories and diagrams relative to network interconnection design.
• Communicate internally about critical dates and other relevant information, pertinent to network evolution.
• Liaison between the carriers and company support personnel on all matters relating to architecture, planning and arrangement.
• Develop, maintain and update network capacity planning reports and key performance indicators that insure network is maintained in accordance with industry accepted planning policies, e.g. management of network utilization.

• Possess expert knowledge of all aspects of the Carrier Fiber-Optic Network.
• Ability to understand basic and complex Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions, fundamental knowledge of transport equipment capabilities is required.
• Advanced PC skills to include emphasis on MS Excel, MySQL and MS Access.
• Advanced computer programming skills (C++, Perl, etc...) are a plus.

General Summary:
The purpose of this position is to design and manage the installation of the local telecommunications network, and coordinate fiber and copper placement and other services with the cable group to specified custom buildings. This will include all activities to extend the fiber network into buildings. It will also be responsible for all vertical and horizontal riser copper and fiber cables.

Key Responsibilities:
• Selects routing of lines and equipment required projects.
• Prepares detailed construction and installation drawings, estimates equipment, labor, and material costs.
• Initiates work authorization request and submits request with substantiating drawings and documents to management for approval.
• Orders materials and equipment required and directs work activities to make sure they conform to engineering specifications.
• Coordinate access to inside building wiring and inside conduct for cabling, as required.
• Engineer the fiber and copper cable network for the specific building, including all inside wiring design, and outside plant design.
• Coordinate with cable engineering and technical management on construction and service functions.
• Perform site surveys to provide pre-sale cost estimates for servicing a specific building.

General Summary:
The Inventory & Facilities Specialist is responsible to assist the Inventory & Facilities Supervisor in the acquisition of appropriate goods and/or services at the best possible total cost to meet the needs of the company. Quality, quantity, and time are taken in to consideration. The specialist will also assist in facilities when needed - repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds.

Essential Job Functions:
• Receive shipments – match against orders, inventory and store in appropriate space. Stage materials for pick up.
• Staging material and allocation to locations, releasing and receiving inventory to contractors, engineering involvement and inventory transactions to CLEC/ILEC jobs.
• Review and prepare equipment for repair, return or replacement.
• Run parts/equipment to field when necessary (on an exception basis).
• Pick up and deliver miscellaneous items to/from Phelps and other company locations on a daily basis.
• Code and entry inventory in appropriate computer systems/vendor accounts.
• Miscellaneous office duties and administrative responsibilities including filing.
